Match the playback tempo or pitch

DJs need the pitch function to make sure that

songs with different tempo or pitch are made to

match one another for good playback.

When mixing different songs, it can happen that

the tempo of one track must be adjusted, and

changing the tempo also changes the pitch. This

can sometimes cause unpleasant and undesired

distortions, nicknamed "Mickey Mouse sounds".

The key-lock button helps in these cases - when

it is activated, the pitch remains constant when

the song tempo changes. When it is deactivated,

the track's pitch also changes.

TIP! This function can be used creatively during

DJing.
